The whole Pro series was talked about 2 years ago so if things were right they would be around the corner, too bad they are tied to Sprint and the Qualcomm mess isn't helping either

The pro series had me waiting for something special. A year later no phones and no patience, I went and got a blackberry. Always had Sanyos prior to that. From the 4900 to the 5000 series, ending with a M1. I wonder if Sprint will lose the exclusivity agreement they enjoyed with Sanyo as a result of the merger....

I can't help but feel Sanyo has some goodies up their sleeve for Sprint.

I agree with you. I too, have mostly been a Sanyo user for nearly ten years. I had the 6400, then the 4920 and now the Katana. It's time for me to think of replacing my Katana, but I see nothing under Sayno's banner that says "Take me home with you..."

I've only used Sanyo's, and I just switched to a Mogul, now I'm about to switch back to a M1. Other phones just don't feel right compared to my M1

I have the M1, and unless Sanyo actually releases something decent in the high end phone before the end of the year I'm switching to the Raphael or Diamond.

You cant go wrong with the Diamond or Ralpheal. I hope what I heard about the 900 is true; Smart phone with qchat. I know there is a post here somewhere about it. Hope it gets released this year.

I thought the Pro 900 series line will have a PDA? I just saw a picture of it in the PDA section on this forum.

deebrown is echoing my sentiments, I want to be loyal to Sanyo but there needs to be a 2 or more mp cam with all the rest of the stuff a M1 does. suprises me it is taking so long to get something out but them again if it, a highend, released the shelf life will top out at 6 months

I had a 5400, 5600, 8400, and now a Katana DLX. The Katana sucks so I'm not impressed with Sanyo anymore. The firmware is just too laggy compared to the 8400. And I know the Katana is just a skinny 8400. I work in a manufacturing plant and haven't had any reception issues until the 8400 got replaced under TEP with the Katana. I have to hold the phone in the air upsidedown to send texts. I'm about to get a used Treo.

I am pulling for Sanyo the same amount as Sprint, they both have self inflicted wounds
