It's time for a new phone. I like the Curve but the Instinct has caught my attention. I know they are completely different phones so it's not really comparing apples to apples. I use most of the features on my Q9c but I use the hell out of the GPS and internet. Which of these 2 phones offer the best features and battery life? Price isn't a factor. Thanks for any opinions.

Well unless your willing to pay 100 bucks a month for the simply everything, get the curve.

Sprint Sero + BB plan = $60/mo

If you need a phone now, I would get the Curve with that $60/mo plan. Be aware, however, that the next-generation Blackberry Bold (http://crackberry.com/blackberry9000) is rumored to be coming to Sprint/Verizon in September or October.

^ you don't have to put yourself onto a Simply Everything Plan to use either phone. You need an Everything Plan for the Instinct, which coincedently costs THE EXACT SAME PRICE as the Blackberry Plan at $30 add on from your voice plan.

if i were to choose between the two phones, I'd go with the Curve.

Dumb question.......what is SERO? I've seen some threads mentioning that term.Basically, Sero is a discounted Sprint plan for individuals (not families). Information here (http://delivery.sprint.com/m/p/sprint/epc/epclanding.asp) (more specific details here (http://a676.g.akamaitech.net/f/676/773/60m/images.delivery.net/cm50content/1529/sero/SERO_details.pdf)). The plans include $30/mo for 500 anytime minutes, $49.99/mo for 1250 anytime minutes, and $99.99/mo for unlimited minutes; all of these include unlimited night and weekend minutes after 7pm and unlimited messaging / web / picture mail. The Blackberry plan with push mail, etc would cost an additional $30/mo.

This site has a forum dedicated to Sero (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=120) if you have any questions about it.

With Black Berry Curve you can bring it abroad or if you ever fed up with Sprint you can still use it with different phone companies sim card

If you buy Samsung Instinct, you stuck with Sprint.

Btw, you should watch phonedog.com for Samsung Instinct review. They have a really good review about Samsung Instinct there

Not the CDMA version 8330. There is a world phone version , model 88xx that will work on gsm but I don't know about activating the 88xx with another carrier.
