I am trying unlock my Sanyo 6600 (Katana). i tried entering the 4 digits of my phone number as well as stupid things like 0000 and 1234. any suggestions?

have sprint re-program your phone. this resets the lock code to the last four of your phone number.

Sorry, maybe i should have been more specific. I just bought this phone online. so i dont know about the previous owners personal info, beyond the the previous cell number.

Well you need to, again, have sprint activate it on your line, and the lock code automatically becomes the last four of your phone number. I think you can check the code if you have your MSL also
