Okay I have to ask. I know you love Sanyo phones, but has your love of the phones spilled over into other electronics? I have a 2 Sanyo TV's. Anybody else?

Actual I'm a Toshiba fan. Have TV, VCR and 3 DVD players (one portable) from them but there cellphones, at least the Sprint ones, have been hit or miss. Sanyo is tops in that department.:tu:

I had a Sanyo 20" TV. I got it back in the mid '90s.

I replaced it with a 25" RCA around 2000. Sold the Sanyo to my mom's friend.

The RCA lasted a whole 6 months.

The Sanyo TV is still working to this day...

Yep good old RCA I had one that quit on my after the one year warranty. I was looking for a cheap TV to replace it with and bought a Sanyo. It is still working three years later. I will never buy another RCA.

RCA = Really Crappy Appliance (at least as of the last 10 years or so, prior to that they were top notch quality IMO, my grandpa has an RCA B&W tv that still works fine today, and a few other things as well)

My Grandfather was a big RCA guy also. I think it had something to do with them being an American company more than anything.

My sister had a small white TV about 20 years ago. it was a very reliable TV.

i am pretty sure it was a sanyo. it was about 12 inches. it was the only TV available in white at the time. did sanyo make a white TV back then?

I'm pretty sure it was.

But with that said... I also have a 13" RCA TV which I got in '93, for Christmas.

It too still works. along with the RCA VCR that was hooked up to it.

I don't know what the heck happened to the company. :(

I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Sanyo.

wow i wasnt aware that sanyo made TV's. i vaguely remember them making home speakers back in the 80s/90s. i havent checked the since Bose became the thing to have.

but speaking of TVs, I've had my 17" panasonic for nearly 9 or 10 years now and it's still working great and reliable. and with that keystroke, i just have a feeling it's going to die next week :(
