I have had this fight with myself for about a month now, I just cannot seem to find the right phone for me. Every phone I find always has something that ends up being a deal breaker.
I upgraded my contract and retired my old A900 after two good years with it. I got the Blackberry Curve 8330 and ever since I have been in and out of decisions.
I currently am not really pleased with the Curve. Don't get me wrong, it's a great phone, but I'm beginning to think it's not for me. For one, the fact that there is no Picture Mail was a killer. But I thought I would wait it out and see if it was possibly going to happen maybe by this summer. Then I find out that Blackberry does not work with MSN much, including syncing my @msn.com email, and having a full MSN Messenger (outside of 3rd party applications). Then I also find out there there is no option to download call tones, ring tones, etc. I'm aware of Mp3's as ring tones, I've looked it all up. So so those 3 things really put it on the hole for the Curve.
So right now I'm checking out the Centro, M520, Q9C.
What I really want is all the power vision stuff (GPS preferred, TV/Music not so much) with picture messaging, and a qwerty keyboard (M520 I can live without it).
It seems like with Sprint every phone I look at is missing at least one of my major wants. Like Palm without GPS, M520 without Qwerty, Q9C without call tones. Blaah, anyone have ideas?
