I cannot decide what to get. My contract will be over soon and I want to upgrade to another phone. I've always had a good experience with Sanyo when it comes to Sprint which I why I hesitate to deviate away from it. My current phone is a Sanyo 8400.

A few of my friends have a Blackberry and have all said good things about them (Pearl & Curve).

I use my phone for talking and texting right now. Probably more texting. And I know the Pearl probably would be good in terms of keeping a calendar/reminders/organization which I need.

Also, I like to use my camera for pictures and video. I don't expect the quality of an actual Digital Camera but something that takes decent pictures and if possible video if I needed it.

Need advice on any experience with any of the above phones.

just remember with a blackberry you will have to pay for a special data pack.
if you decide to stick with sanyo then wait for the katana eclipse, which is a power vision phone coming out this summer (maybe) :D

If you can do the blackberry data plan and know you will use the features for the next 2 years, then go with the Pearl.

The Katana II and DLX are discontinuing soon but I've heard nothing about this Katana Eclipse. A forum search just showed the posters comments, a google search didn't do much. Do you have any information on the Katana EclipsE?

Do you know if there will be phones to replace the Katana II and DLX?
