My katana lx (5/2008) is dying. I had it tested and they can't seem to understand what is going on with it. Can't update it, it doesn't receive picture mail alerts, bluetooth will not connect to anything, phone will not turn off unless you take the battery out, when it finally does received a text message it is either way after the fact or is a duplicate, and whatever else you can think of. Well they came to the conclusion after 2 days and 3 thirty minute phones calls that it is not the network it is the phone and will send me a new one. I guess this is what happpens when you get it hot off the press.

i gotta say that when i saw the pacific blue colored phone in the store it looked kind of cheap looking.

i played with the hinge etc. and it felt flimsy. my Mom is thinking of upgrading her blue Katana but in my opinion the original Katana feels like it is a better made phone than the LX.

I know that you started a thread regarding the LX but there has not been any responses to it except for mine. i wonder why this is as i would like to see some feedback before my Mom gets this phone.
