Sorry if this has been ask and answered, and I’m sure that it has but I can’t find an answer I understand.

I have a new cell phone, Sanyo SPC 3200. I’m a long time user of Sprint but have never had a phone that would take pictures. So how do I get them off the phone? I did a Google search and found a site BitPim for software, but my phone is not listed, and it looks real complicated to install and use. I also found a Bluetooth thing that plugs into my usb port. I know nothing about Bluetooth. Am I missing an easy way to do this maybe like getting picture’s off a camera? I know I can pay Sprint to upload to a site but I won’t take enough pictures to justify that
I'm using Vista if that makes any differance
Thanks

You get charged 3 cents per kilobyte even with the pic mail package

I was looking for the same issue. I find a cable listed on several sites, one that will even work on the wife's pink Katana, and one listing has software with the cable that indicates it will use the phone memory like a thumbdrive, so I assume that means it will download photos, but it also says the Katana needs additional software on the computer to download data from that. Guess what is really the issue, are picture files considered as data the same as the address book or are they something else. The articles and adds all mention downloading data, but not photos. I dont want to spend even the $11.95 if it isnt going to do what I need it to do. Since no such cable or software is listed in the Sprint or Sanyo accessories, it makes me wonder how well it works. Has anyone had any experience with these third-party items?

They won't work. You'll need a data plan and picmail to get photos off your phone

Do you mean an "SCP-3200"? If so, this is wrong. I have an scp-3200 in front of me right now. I regularly pull the pictures off using BITPIM and a USB cable (I bought mine online, but you may be able to get one at walmart) and BITPIM is free. You'll also need to download the USB drivers from sprint's website.

This is great news, but guess I'm computer dumb. I've been all over Sprint's site and can't find the USB drivers. Is that what they're called?
Thanks
