Doesn't matter if it's an interest check or not you must provide pictures. Please post them.

Furthermore, what do you mean by personally never used? This is what I'm understanding so far: Your friend owned the LX for an undisclosed period of time; you bought the phone and carried it around with you even though it was never activated; you are now trying to sell it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that just sounds incredibly strange.

My guess is that he's selling for his friend.

Sidekicks do not work that way as they use Dangers servers to access the internet. You could use a Prepaid T-Mobile SIM in it for voice and text only. T-Mobile does however have prepaid Sidekick plans.

correct sorry for not taking the time to care about spelling.
dang as i read it over again, can i rewrite that it makes me look like
i dont have a 3.57 GPA lo0l. but the deal is kind of set unless someone
comes with an offer more than the asking price.
and i think a grammar check would be necessary not a spell check.

you would be able to call and text ppl but you will not be able to aim or do any kind of internet activities. kind of stupid to have a unlocked sidekick

has it been tested on like at&T to see if the talk/texting actually works?

sidekick is a t mobile phone, I doubt it'd wrk on at&t

A Sidekick can be unlocked to work on at&t, but only for text and voice. No data.

Most GSM phones can be unlocked and used on another GSM carrier.

Aside from that there is a lot of thread crapping going on here. If you don't want to make an offer or have a question about this device, don't reply. Leave it to the mods and the seller.

This thread is bouncing all over the place. Now according to you barry, I can use a prepaid Tmobile sim and ALL services will work? Let me know and I'll submit my offer.

Have to ask again because others said that I couldn't

Here are the facts, once and for all...

An unlocked Sidekick can be used on at&t; however, only voice and text will work. You can get a prepaid Sidekick plan through T-Mobile only, which would enable all of the Sidekick's features. So the bottom line is the only way that data will work is to get a prepaid or postpaid Sidekick plan from T-Mobile.

thank you...

Is there a prepaid Sidekick?
There is... either purchase a new Sidekick from T-Mobile or purchase one from a friend or an auction website such as eBay or Craigslist.

When I had the T-Mobile To Go service I had purchased a To Go SIM card from eBay-- search for "t-mobile to go starter" and some should come up-- and they include some prepaid time.

When you have your Sidekick and your To Go SIM card put the card in your phone and from what I remember, a screen should pop up asking for you to activate the SIM. You'll be able to call customer service from your Sidekick; just tell them you're trying to activate To Go on a Sidekick and they'll guide you through it and you'll be using your prepaid Sidekick in anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours (activation times may vary, the longest I've had to wait was about 3 hours when I had got my Sidekick with a regular plan.) Make sure you have your SIM card number and the IMEI number of your Sidekick (*#06# to get it from the main screen) on hand before calling.

The service is a dollar a day for use of data (texting, IM, internet & email) and 15 cents a minute to use it as a phone in additon to the dollar a day. You can purchase refill cards from various places such as 7-11 or Wal-Mart or refill it online with a credit card @ my.t-mobile.com.

Cool. Now you know what there is to know about prepaid Sidekick usage! Yay!!!
