M1 Voice Ringer not trying to Say names

I did a search and couldn't find an answer so, forgive me if this has been covered.

I have a Sanyo M1, and I like to set my default ringer for both Text and Ringer to the Voice Announcement where it either says the person's name in my phone book, or announces the number. Howver My M1 has stop doing that, it doesn't say the names or numbers anymore. All it says is "New message from" But doesn't say the name. Seems like it should since it prefaces it with "from."

My Sanyo 5600, said the names. Does the M1, not do this, I thought it did, but I've owned alot of Sanyos so maybe I'm confused.

Any one know why?

there's a little trick, I'm trying to remember, there was a setting you had to change to get it to work. I remember trying really hard, then figuring it out, but I can't remember right now




EDIT: alright i got it, you have to set an advanced ringer for texts, dont use the ringer volume, use a separate volume :headbang2
