Boy am i glad i came across this forum. sorry if its the wrong thread. Ok so here it goes.

I started Nextel service back in October, i had 500 minutes with free incoming. It was all great till i finally dropped my ATT phone. Then everyone realized (including me) that i was no longer able to text. So i called in and spoke with this extremely hard to understand guy to have 1000 messages a month. I get my bill the next month and its over 180 dollars. So i call them and they say oh well you went over your text messages ... you used 350 something messages going out, and 400 something coming in. she didnt seem to understand my argument with this, i guess simple math isnt a requirement for her dept. Anyways after going in to a corp store i talked to this wonderful woman who get it fixed, finally my bill was right at 110 a month. So i made the second mistake of getting a new (older) phone. i always heard the 7520's where tanks, so i bought one. and had it put onto my acct, bought the unlimited data plans and my bill was fine. Feb rolls about and i get a "welcome" call telling me about the simply everything plan. i was like yeah sign me up and also asked if i could get a discount with the company i work for. she says yes we get everything added and its all good. Until last week when i started reading that i dont need the BES add-on for 20 dollars a month. So i call and they give me the credit i had over payed. So now i am thinking of taking the risk of upgrading to the ic902. i dont care to change my contract date, i am OK with the coverage. What are your opinions of the ic902 and do you think its worth the risk to even attempt to upgrade?

Hm...i would be careful. You're giving yourself too many problems, but yeah, go with what suits you best. The ic902 is an EXCELLENT phone. However sorry to say, the Corporate discount will NOT be applied to the Simply Everything plan. Regardless of what they told you, the system just doesnt allow us to add it. But go for it buddy. If you plan to stick with your BB, the Simply Everything will do. It comes with the BIS service which is perfect. But go for the ic902. and if you dont need all the features like e-mail, web, navigation etc, just go to the Talk/Message/Connect plan for $89.99/month. Comes with unlimited Text/Talk for a cheaper rate. But the choice is yours! if you get a wrong bill next month, you should of seen it coming :bang:
