i changed out from my 8830 to the curve yesterday. all went smooth until I put hte 2gb sandisk card in from my 8830. the curve kept locking up requiring the battery to be pulled to bring it back to life. it kept locking up until i swapped the card out for the 1gb one that comes with the curve. it works fine now. ODD.
I will try and format the 2gb as I have a lot of large pics and some music on it and see if that helps.........

I think you mean "micro", but I bought one (4GB) for mine. I'm haveing no problems you may have got a bad card
