Hello guys. I played with a blackberry curve in the sprint store the other day and i decided to go the blackberry way. My girlfriend ordered the pearl so she will be receiving that next week also.
I'm trying to save some time by asking you guys some good blackberry websites and communites. I don't know if i'm aloud to ask this but, some with games and crack programs and stuff like that also.
I've already got crackberry.com
ppc-geeks.com is a great website but does not have blackberrys on it.

This subforum and Blackberryforums are my 2 main sources of information. This one seems the most useful since it's not only dedicated to BB's but Sprint BB's. I doubt you'll be finding too much along the lines of games and cracks for the BB.

GAMES? What are those.I kid, but with a BB you are severely cut down on options for those.
BBs are not nearlty as "hackable" as windows devices, most of the "hacks" for BB consists of adding apps and maybe themes, but no real in depth tweeking like you can do with a PPC.
As far as sites, I would recommend first of HERE because of the reason Chrscott22 already said: here we have a BB forum for Sprint/Nextel only, so the information you are going to get is going to be tailored to the particular model and version of that model.
Other good sites and sources: www.blackberryforums.com, www.crackberry.com, www.bbgeeks.com
I do not endore any of these, although I have found them to be helpful for one reason or another.

Ok i just got my blackberry curve today, the sprint store activated it for me and i took it home. I haven't changed anything neither have they.
I got home, i have the Sprint Power Vision Black Berry plan for 30.00 a month.
I have two problems currently.
1. When i goto the browser is says this device does not currently have any brower configuration service book entries.
2. No sprint programs are installed at all. Only instant messenger on it is BB Messenger. There is nothing in the entertainment folder. or communities folder. Anyone know why? I thought i was supposed to have sprint navigator and the sprint store, and on demand? Thanks.

you need to register your BB with BIS, if you have the BB plan go to http://sprint.blackberry.com/ and signup and have your service books pushed

I would call the sprint blackberry technical support and tell them directly. They will reset your pin and service books for you. Make sure you don't call from the blackberry.
Please note that unless you have the simply everything plan sprint navigation is a paid subscription service and pocket express (some of the applications) are as well.

sprint navigation is included as part of the $30 BB plan, so is pocket express (to an extent)

Thanks alot guys, had no idea about this. I'm going to have to call them tomorrow, its not letting me do the registration thing. I bought it from a local sprint store, and i had alot of trouble with them, they ordered the wrong phone twice... I should have just done it online. Then they said they activated it and set everything up and that i could surf the web and everything.
Then i got home from work and tried it and it looks like nothing is set up really, i can just text and call. Oh well though. Thanks again for the quick replys.

Thanks alot guys. I just was curious! I got my curve and i really like it. So far i haven't really seen a need for alot of the programs i had on my windows mobile phone. Thanks again.
