View Full Version : igo Wallpower Charger WILL NOT charge Katana DLX

Before you throw down money on an iGo Wallpower to charge your 8500, don't do it. It will not charge correctly even though iGo states it will. I tried 2 different DLX phones with tips A02 and A102. Neither work correctly.

Strangely enough both tips work fine with the car charger. Only the wall charger has problems with the 8500.

I have a ticket open with iGo now but until they work it out don't waste the money.

This is my third year using their product(s). It's the first issue I've ever had with them.

I just tried both A102 and my old A02 on the DLX and both worked. You sure your charger didn't just die?

are you using the wall charger? the op states it works fine with the car charger but not with the wall.

Yup, wall charger. I was suprised the A02 tip fit since it didn't work on the old Katana.

Did you leave it plugged in for a while - like 5 minutes or more? On both of my Katana DLX's after a few minutes it starts beeping every 15 seconds while connected to the Wallpower Charger.

Sorry it took so long to reply but please let me know your findings.
