i will recently be leaving T-mobile, and i know i want to go to sprint, they have alot of great things are i feel are probably (if not) leading the way in the cellphone industry....anyways, i have recently had the 755p in mind, sinse I have a friend with a 700wx which i enjoy. so yesterday i went to my nearest sprint store to try out the 755p and its OS. although the floor model was running a bit off, would jam up coming out of keygaurd, and sprint tv wasnt configured or what not, i really liked it. the Palm OS is really easy to use and very "to the point". but i didnt like the browser so much (i saw the internet in an all text setting, but they told me u can set it to see pictures and stuff, so im going to see the phone again today).

so i hoped over to the mogul, and wow, really enjoyed it too, i usually hate those slide out keyboards but the moguls keyboard is actually really good. only down falls i see from the mogul are no sprint tv, and no AIM. which if someone can confirm this for me i heard can all be acheived through 3rd party software.

any who, wut im looking for is

good texting
AIM messenger
email
mp3 (use mp3s as ringtones aswell)
good/great internet
reliable phone (no constant crashes/jams/freeze ups)
phone with easy to find/install 3rd party programs to make the phone better.

pluses are being able to take videos, and sprint tv (is it worth it?)

:fingers:

yes tv can be fixed a couple of ways on the mogul. I wouldn't know about aim but I can tell you this phone is versatile, the mogul fresh out of the box is ok(just like any windows computer)but you make it your own and it becomes amazing. the wealth of programs and support for winmob is outstanding.

Id still like the versatility of the 755p, the mogul after a few weeks will be slugish hell.. trust me I've had every PDA phone for the sprint carrier

I have the Instinct and im seriously thinking of switching it for the Mogul. I'm not having all of the problems a lot of Instinct users seem to be having, but i am not happy with some aspects of usability and firmware/ OS. The Tv isnt important to me. I want an easy to use all around phone. good cam/ vid, mp3, txt, web/ email, and customizable. So is the Mogul a good choice?

Not a good camera, but everything else is nice.

You will need an app to close programs and to take care of your RAM, or else the device will be very sluggish and need to be reset all the time. Other than that, it's got lots of the features you wanted.

You can use Mobitv to watch TV, I can help you find it if you PM me. As for AIM, there's a beta app by AOL that is basically the full messenger on your phone. It's not great, but works fine.

Texting is great on my Mogul, email works, VERY customizable.

hmmmmm, i went to look at the Mogul today. it'll cost me another 170 to switch to it. IDK...........I also went to look at the Iphone 2. For some reason, it seemed a lot better than i remember the first time i looked at it. The cam was wayyyyyy better than the instinct, but not sure if it has video capabilities . ( all the reps were busy , so i didnt find out) I'm sooooo confused. Now I have 3 choices....and im worried if i switch, i'm STILL not gonna be happy. I'm not sure what to do
