Is it possible to add contacts to your curve from your PC using the desktop software? I don't want to have to manually type in all of my contact information. I want to put all of the info (phone numbers/email addresses etc...) on the PC then sync with the Curve. It would be so much faster. I have Outlook on my PC, would I have to first enter the info in Outlook then sync? If so, how?

If you had win based phone that you used activesync or palm software...you can connect both phones and open the bb desktop software and your contacts will be migrated to the bb.

Yes, it is possible. You need to install the BlackBerry Desktop manager and it will guide you through the process.

I have the desktop manager installed but I cannot find where to do it. I will dig deeper. My old phone was a Sanyo M1 so I cannot sync the two.

Launch the BDM, go to "Synchronize", click on "Configuration" tab and go from there.

Got it. Thanks! Doing it now--works fine with Windows Mail (Vista)
