Is there a "Better" BlackBerry support than calling in to the main number?

I can't send emails, the email they setup (which I didn't want them to do) they gave me the wrong password and everytime I send an email it has a read reciept attached to it.

I don't feel like explaining the problem, then explaining what a read receipt is to whatever tech school drop out answer the phones. :frustrate

I deleted ALL E-MAIL addresses that I had setup. I deleted ALL Service Books. I pulled the battery and restarted. I then Registered Now, Resent Service Books, Setup my emails (or ones I knew the password too) and then resent Service Books again everyone is still getting read recipts.

what drifter said...that is "THE BEST" department in all of sprint in my opinion. It's actually a pleasure when I call into that department.

I saved that number and hope that it's different then when I go through the IVR.

After 10 minutes on hold and explaining what a read receipt is, we got it fixed. I had to change the "Confirm Delievery" in the Email Settings to "No". But I tried that before and it didn't work, so maybe wiping the service books and the email addresses worked.

Thank you guys for that number!

...and I can't get anyone to add the BB data plan to my SERO plan. Everyone is claiming it cannot be done. Each rep suggests changing my plan to simply everything or reducing my minutes to 200. Is there some code or process I can give them a heads up about to resolve this issue? It took me forever to get the phone and now I can't utilize it. Aaaargh!!!!!! :frustrate

try having them remove all your vision and power vision plans or any add ons and add the bb plan

that number is a tech suppot number, they do not handle plans or making any modifications to them, thats why they cannot assist you, you have to call CS and hope you get that 1 rep that is able to assist you with you SERO plan

Thanks for this response. I tried this with one rep and was unsuccessful. I doubt it was do to your suggestion though. I just don't think she understood.

I called BB Tech Support b/c that's what the Sticky in the BB Forum suggests. It has been said quite often that these reps are more knowledgeable about this issue. Ultimately the sticky (along with several forum members) was correct. I found a rep who knew about this issue and I am now up and running with my SERO Voice Only & BIS. Thank you for your response. :tu:

Called there the other day so I could get my BB email address off the pearl and onto my curve.

The rep so was so nice. She didnt fluff everything with the "I am so sorry and appoligize for the issue 20 times" she just got right to the point, and she was very friendly and had a great attitude. She reset the problem and said she would call me back in 2 minutes to make sure it all worked. She called back right at 2 minutes. She was very knowledgable! I love that dept.....

She spoke FLUENT english too!!!!!

Premier care had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them to remove Vision and texting and add BIS for $30. I called my local store and got it done in about 5 minutes.

In regards to the email issue, if you are trying to bring over an "@sprintpcs.com" email to a Blackberry plan, I was told today that it is iffy. I was having issues changing any options with mine, I couldn't receive emails on it (but could send). I set up an "@sprint.blackberry.net" email address and everything worked flawlessly.

Hope that helps-

I had the same problems with my sero plan. Premier care said there was nothing they could do and said I had to find someone else to call.

I finally ended up at employee care and the lady figured it out.

Whenever I call *2 my blackberry says activation started and then when I hangup oy fails. Does anyone know why that is?

I am having the same problem. I can send email from my BB but cannot receive. I am not using a sprintpcs email, I am using comcast.net. I setup an "@sprint.blackberry.net" email but I'm still having the same issue.

So you can send from the blackberry.net address but not receive on it? Did you send Service Books? Re-provision?

issue is a feature modified on your BB. I can't figure out why support has to be called for this. I could have misread the post.
