Okay... I am at school and got my BB Curve delivered today right before I left for class. I didnt bring any paperwork with me... so please forgive.

Where the heck do I get on the interent at on the curve? I have looked all over and cannot seem to find any browser applications at ALL! Nor the Navigation system. Are these supposed to be installed with the CD that came in the box? I have never had a BB and it seems wierd I can cant find the brwoser and the apps are not installed.

You should have about 5 icons on the screen. Click the bottem one. That takes you to the Apps. Least it does on every other BB i have used. I don't have a Curve, yet. :) Just a little peeved it costs $180 online with Sprint when AT&T had it for $80 at Best Buy this weekend.

I clicked it - went to all sorts of options, Messenger, Settings, BrickBuster - No browser at all.

How much is it with VZW? at&t and TMo have had this device for awhile now and they both want to get rid of them because the Blackberry 9000 (Bold) is coming out.

Verizon has it for $149 online.
T-Mobile has it for $249 online, but it doesn't mention anything about a contract.
AT&T had it for $99 online and $79 at the Best Buy next to the Sprint Campus. But that of course requires a 2 yr contract just like Sprint.

Have you had it activated and Service Books sent? Until then, you will not see the browser icon.

looking online, looks like the rep gave me the sero plan for 30 bucks, but did not add the BB plan - guess I'll call to get that added and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks.

If you have the right data package you should be able to do the following to fix this.

Got to Options (wrench icon)
Mobile Network
in mobile network press the button left of the ball with the blackberry logo
select start provisioning

This will send your phone everything it needs and enable all of the Sprint features.

If you call customer service ALWAYS ask for the blackberry department. The regular CSR's are not equipped to help you, but often times do not bother transferring you either. The blackberry people only deal with the hand full of phones RIM makes and they know what to do on their end to fix your problems quickly.

When I got mine activated they forgot to transfer my e-mail accounts and I ended up waiting hours for nothing to happen and then called back and it was fixed in 5 minutes.

you can't sprint junkie, you should've posted your own topic instead of here.....

On top of provisioning you need to 'register' on RIM's network after your provision successfully. Options->Advanced Options->Host Routing Table->Menu Key->Register Now.

Yeah, you have to have the service books sent to your device. Make sure you have a BB data plan. Get in contact with a BB tech and let them guide you through the process (especially if you don't feel comfortable fooling around with the options on your own). Give a little time (sometimes mins, sometimes an hour) and you should be up and running. If I'm late on this, sorry. Posting from my Curve. Hope you're up and running with your BB. Goodluck.
