I can usually make quick decisions and be content with the result, but this one is painstaking. I welcome all input that'll help in my decision to buy the Q9c ($149.99), the Ace ($199.99), or the Touch ($249.99.
Major differences I'm aware of:
1. Q9c supposedly has longer battery life and is GPS enabled
2. Ace has international capability (SIM included)
3. Touch, well, it's just a darned cool phone (although I already have the 6800
Ok, whatd'ya think?

I would go with the Ace because it does go around the world, the HTC touch has a lot of issues with the phone. and the Q9 you cannot send pictures in text messages unless u download a third party application. So i would go with the Ace. so far the ace has not had any problems what so ever...

The Q9c's battery "lasts longer" only because it has a big extended battery that extends off the back -- you can put the same kind of extended battery on any of the other 2 phones if you're willing to have the same kind of bulge.
I'm sure you know that of the 3, only the Touch runs PPC, the rest are WM/Standard (Smartphone). That's a huge difference. If you're used to the software on the 6800, the Touch is much closer.
Obviously if you're an int'l traveler, the Ace is good for that, although I just use an unlocked GSM phone instead.
Some people have issues with the Touch, but some don't. All depends on your tolerance for WM/PPC -- I don't think the Touch problems are really hardware issues, mostly they are software/OS issues. A new firmware release is due RSN which should give us RevA and GPS on the Touch (or you can already get those things by using a custom ROM).
These days with all my colleagues rubbing their iPhone screens, the only phone that can stand up to that (and then show the iPhone up one) is the Touch. But if you want something simpler, and don't do much webbrowsing, just SMS, then the Ace is probably a better choice.

None of the WM devices on Sprint can send picture messages without the hack application.

I really like my Q9c, but I'd recommend the Ace, with an extended battery and the new unlock procedure (really not satisfied wth Q9's camera). Had a 6700, 6800, Touch, and just like the simplicity of WM standard, but admit have never looked into BBs.

Thanks guys, so far it's looking like the Ace has pretty much overall approval.
