Anyone elses not go on all the time? I like how its on when I touch it like my 8830

I noticed the same thing yesterday. I'm not sure if it's not on at all, or just not as bright as 8830.

its not on all the time it only goes on in the dark... it has an ambient light senor cover it with your hands and it will go on..

it isnt as bright bc the light on the 8830 is directly behind the ball but on the curve its more under the "options" button

My old 8830 and my wife's Pearl are super bright. My curve, even cranked up brightness with sensor off is really dim.

thats because the sprint curve only has one led off to the left hand side under the trackball. looks like they cut corners on the sprint version
