I tried downloading all of the ringtones I had on my 8830 to the Curve and it doesn't seem to want to save them. I was getting the ones for the 8830 from myxertones.com I've tried everything and it isn't saving them in the My Ringtones folder. Any suggestions?

they are probably stored on a sd card on your 8830....you need to xfer them to the sd card for the curve......unless you are just swapping them

I'm just resending them to the new phone from the site. I didn't have the 8830 long enough to even use my SD card. The link goes to the phone ok but it doesn't dowload on the Curve

I make my own ringtones and then upload them to my briefcase on yahoo.com, then from the phone browser I goto briefcase.yahoo.com, login and then grab them from there. Always worked effortlessly for me.
