Are there any old Blackberry users out there who can recommend cases or covers for the new Curve? There might not be many available for this new model yet, but even if you could steer us new users towards the best case/cover manufacturers, that would be a huge help for the future.
Personally I can't pull off that belt holster/case look, even in a suit, so I'm planning on keeping it my pants or coat pocket. Should I go for one of those InvisibleShields I keep hearing about?
I've seen a friend who has this case and it's great.

It depends on what the texture of the body is. I'm using BSE skin on my 8830 and it works very well; I've had it on since day one and it hasn't started peeling anywhere. But the 8830 body is very smooth and slick, which is the perfect surface for these skins. I also used the same skin on my old Q, and it started peeling after a couple of months, but the Q's body was textured, which is why the skin didn't stick well. For the holster - I'm perfectly happy with the stock holster that came with my 8830, and from the pictures, it looks like the Curve comes with the same type of holster, so I'll probably just keep using that.

the holster for the 8830 is by far the best holder/holster/sleeve/protector ive ever had on any phone not to mention its functional with the sleep mode. I believe the curve comes with a sleeve not the same holster as the world edition 8830.
I'm going to try to use the holster from my world edition with the curve it its too big then im going to buy the same type that will fit the 8330 better...people in the business world that where their phones on their belts in my opinion are better off with one of these.
The holster that comes with the Curve is a joke. :( I'm not even going to bother using it. The Curve fits in the 8830 holster, but it's a little loose. For now, I'll keep using my 8830 holster with the Curve, but I'll probably order one of those holsters linked above. As far as getting the skin for the Curve - I think I'll probably pass since the Curve's body is not as slick as 8830, and feels like it's some sort of rubber/plastic compound, and the skin probably won't stick as well to it.

You are pretty much confined to a belt clip if you want the hibernate magnet feature. Unfortunately, I am in the camp that hates the "Bat Utility Belt" look & hates cases for adding extra bulk to the phones.

I have the RIM blackberry OEM case of my pearl that the phone slides into that the leather piece goes over the top. Its a magnetic closure. Love that thing..... I hope to get one for the curve....
Until then.... I will just use this to protect my phone.....
