I have a Pearl 8130 and im still under the 30 day warranty. I think im going to get rid of my blackberry because its to much for me to pay for the voice plan plus the bb plan. (College Student) Anyhow, I want to trade out this phone for the Samsung Instinct when it comes out June 1st. If i were to trade this one for another until the instinct releases.. would that extend my warranty out longer? or do I have to cancel my whole plan, and sign back up when the instinct releases? Any advice?

The 30 days is not the warranty, but rather the exchange/return period.
You are only supposed to be able to exchange for a different device once. In rare circumstances you might get an additional exchange.
Since you are within your first 30 days you could try calling Account Services and they MAY notate your account to extend the exchange period if you explain to them that you are not happy with the Pearl due to the cost of the BB data plan and that the only phone you want is the Instinct when it comes out. If they won't do it, be polite and explain that you will need to cancel your service if they are unable to accommodate you. Don't mention signing up again. Let them think that they will be losing a customer over this issue. YMMV, but its worth a try.

Just wondering how are you going to pay for the instinct ? It has to be on a SEP which it pretty much same price as the BB
