How well does the AIM and Yahoo clients work? Is it the OZ client like in the Moto Q9C? I hope it works better than that does.

I notified my business rep, and am on the phone with premier care, who I spent 15 minutes of explaining what happened to, and now they have transferred me to order support who I've been on hold with for another 10 minutes (still holding now). I expect my business rep to do something better on price for me now, since he could not when I ordered the Curve. I paid $524.99 for it.

In my opinion, the color is not as attractive as it looked in the pictures, but I'd still pick it over the lighter silver color(s) that other carriers offer. It would have been totally hot if the color of the faceplate/back plate were the same as the the color of the rest of the body (almost black).

...and yes! The pouch that is included for the phone f***ing sucks! The 8830 came with a very nice case and this is a piece of crap. The piece on the back of the pouch that looks like a place for a belt loop is nothing more than a raised piece of leather. You have to hold the pouch in your hand or put it in your pocket. RIM.... for this much money this is lousy craftsmanship!

It fits, but it's a little loose. I'm carrying my Curve in my 8830 holster now until my Curve holster arrives.

Yes the pouch does the same thing. They are both made by RIM and have the magnet placed in the strategic location so that the proximity sensor causes the BlackBerry device to go into holster mode.

My rep totally let this fall through the cracks. No order for a replacement was ever created, and so no Curve was delivered today. Yesterday, I asked him to ensure that this was done correctly so I can stop dealing with this POS Mogul.

New order placed today through Premier Care, Retentions gave me $200 off the phone. I'm starting to wonder why I have a business rep.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some photos to post!

The part with the raised leather is actually the front of the pouch. It is raised to protect the trackball. I just wanted to clarify this so people aren't messing up their trackballs :)

I agree, it is pretty cheap, but it comes in handy for me because I always carry my BB in my handbag. The pouch protects it well. I never use a holster or anything.

For UPS it's based on the "Board". (Board = The device they use to scan all the packages and that you sign on)

My old house the "Board wouldn't release any packages without a signature". They explained it's based on your address/neighborhood, if you've had packages stolen in the past or if there's been packages stolen in the area they won't release it without actually giving it to someone. So now the poor guy that had his stolen off his porch on here is gonna be screwed for a long time because the board will block his address and possibly the whole neighborhood.

My new house the guy doesn't even get out of the truck, he just chucks it as close to the door as possible and he's off.
