I can confirm what he was saying about the thruway here. Thankfully they got everyone off the road (finally) about 2 hours into the standoff and SWAT got the guy with no one dying. Really put a crimp on rush hour though!

Assuming it was shipped on the 13th, as stated, then I should receive today or tomorrow. Still no luck in having any communication. Disappointed, his feedback doesn't suggest any of this. I would've never bought this phone if I had realized that I would be having such a difficult time trying to get in touch with him/her

give it 1 more day, per the TP guidelines the seller does have 7 days to fulfill shipping.
past that then file the claim. and the moderation staff will take appropriate action from there.

I've exhausted my options. I'm going to give Yay4Juggs til Monday before filing my claim with Paypal. I'd much rather just magically see the phone appear on my door step.:fingers:

I guess this should be a good example of things going wrong that you'd never expect. I looked at his iTrader rating and thought, "No way would anything go wrong here. This guy has established himself on this site. Why would he throw it away for $40?" He has been here for over 1 year, and he seemed to be an active user. Well he was before this thread was created it seems.
Sorry for the rant, I'm extremely upset that this has been such a horrible transaction. Almost makes me wanna drive to Buffalo myself.

One more thing, I withdraw my statement of him having possible internet issues because he logged into his myspace account just earlier today. Now I'm really upset, all this and I was giving him the benefit of doubt.
I sent him a message around 12:30 on myspace and he DID read the message. But no reply on here or any other avenue that I've attempted.

OK, still no word from Yay4Juggs today so I filed a claim with paypal. The claim closes automatically in 20 "Calendar Days" so I'll obviously escalate it before then.
The hassle begins. What happens from here. Is he banned? He should be in my opinion, or at least not allowed to use the TP anymore, and I mean ANYMORE. I'm probably talking out of anger, but at the same time. Why allow him to burn anyone else.
Thanks go out to all of the moderation staff that is playing a role in this fiasco. I do appreciate all the support. Another sign of how great this community is. Thanks!

Well, he ALREADY responded to the claim. Here's what he wrote,
"item was shipped here is delivery confirmation number from usps 03080730000112851258"
I check the tracking number at USPS and this is the message,
"Your item was processed and left our ROMULUS, MI 48174 facility on May 17, 2008. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."
That means that he didn't ship until the 17th, and he shipped from MI but resides in NY? Totally Confused...:confused:

OK, phone received. It appears to be in the described condition and I have the option to activate it so I'm guessing that the ESN is clear.
It says that it will be activated after clicking "continue". Already entered and confirmed the DEC number. That would mean its clear right? I'm using the online swap feature. Brett, you would be the person to ask I think.

if it was otherwise unclear it would have thrown an error past the first confirmation page where it shows your going from X to M1
