I know I have read that this phone was supposed to be IDen compatable somewhere. Is the Curve just for the Sprint network with no PTT capabilities?

I haven't seen anything in Nextel's upcoming line up that suggests that this phone would be made in an IDEN version. The only two phones I know of coming up are the one that resembles the i335 but includes a camera and one that resembles a RAZR2. I think they are expected out in the late 3rd quarter.

end of the year there is supposed to be a new iden blackberry... maybe thats what your talking about???

Nothing like a 3+ year life cycle for a popular phone. I see people with the the 7100i everywhere, I finally added a line for PTT and changed mine out for an 8830. I could not deal with how antiquated it was.

It sucks that Nextel customers have been neglected this long, hopefully they can pick up the pace and get this out a little quicker.
