What gives?!! Online, all I saw was the titanium finish for sale. I know after all this time waiting, it sounds nitpicky, but where is the Black finish? After all those photos and demo models, I was all set for this version-at least something would have been exclusive to Sprint after all the waiting....generic titanium? Come on, you can do better than that!

That's always been the color... lighting in pictures can make "charcoal", "gray", "titanium", and other dark colors look black.

I work down by Wall Street, and come thru WTC everyday. I was going to check that store, but I didn't go to the office today. I already ordered mine through Customer Retention with the 30 day return/exchange. I ordered the 8830 in the meantime (my Mogul was giving me headaches), thinking it would take until the end of the month for the Curve to be in stock. I got the 8830 on Wednesday, activated it, put some apps on it, and configured it to my liking. Then I log onto Sprint's website this morning around 2 am, and I see the damn Curve:frustrate. I could've waited a few days longer. I go back to the office on Monday. If I see it in that store, I will post.

i'm calling stores and some employees don't even know its released yet....corporate stores! should i call all the stores on the sprint list or would only the corporate stores have them?

by the way im in miami florida and theres a ton of BB users here so i would think just like NYC if they have them there, there should be some here.

none of the corporate stores have them here in miami...so I'm sure there will be alot of cities without them at the stores either...best bet seems to order phone/online

You have to keep in mind that they almost never release a CDMA version until months, even up to a year after the GSM release.

ok i went to 2 stores in pearland, tx (south of houston) and one of them told me mid june. they made space for the curve on the display but no phone there.

the 2nd store which is not a corporate one said they can direct ship it but it's not in store yet.

I will check my sprint store in Salem (Assuming the phone arrives this morning, it says out for delivery) since I need to go there to get my Target discount added to my account.....

UGGGGGH... I called the same store where I bought my 8830 a month ago, last night and asked if they had them in...

The girl said "Oh yea! We just received the shipment about 25 minutes ago but will be going through inventory in about an hour. We got 2 of them!"

I asked if they could hold one and they said no...

So I went there about 2 hours later and the girl was gone for the day but some guy talks to me and says they had not received any shipments yesterday at all... Went to the back and checked and claimed to have seen none.

Today, I called a store that had told me on Friday they'd be getting some today. I got the same guy and he informed me they received 2... One which will go on display, and the second that is already spoken for. He said he had a list of 25 people waiting on the phone. Then he proceeds to tell me that every store in the area is either out or won't be getting them for a few weeks.

This is after eCare, Telesales, and Retentions all three told me they couldn't handle my exchange over the phone because my account was not in Ensemble!!!!!!

I am livid. They have tried 3 times to migrate my account from P2K and each time i'm locked out for 3 days and on the 4th day...I'm back on P2k, with no explanation.

My only venue, they claim, is retail stores... And so far none in my area have them!

Probably the same types of people but they are paid to care more. I sent them an email and the lady wouldn't stop calling me while I was at work to make sure my issue was taken care of.

I went into my local store today, Curve in my hand, and they couldnt believe I had one. The reps were all waiting for theirs, but they didnt even have the display model up yet and they werent going to receive the curve for awhile.

They were all checking out my curve! It was awesome! I felt like royalty!!!! All these reps all over me LOL

I had a deal with ecare that I could get a Curve from any store with $50 being billed to my account for the trade from 8830 to Curve. So, I called my two local stores today, one a bigger, repair center which told me they did not have it and would not be getting them in for a while. The other one (less than a mile away from me) said they had just gotten two in. I ran over there and saw the manager who I had talked to about it yesterday and he said "sorry, nothing yet." I told him that I was already told that he had received two and he looked again and got me one! I love it!

Now that I have the "return autorization form" they said I need, none of the stores have them in stock!:td: So now i have to wait for a return kit and then hope they have the correct one to send me.:1zhelp:

I called my store on Airport Hwy, in Toledo, OH and they told me that they had a bunch of them. So I got in the car and drove down (45 minute drive) there... I walked in and they asked what they could help me with. I told them I was interested in the BB Curve. The first person responded with "we do not have any" the next person said yes we do they are in the back. Then they said well we aren't supposed to sell them, I told them I had called twice and then driven down from Monroe and then someone spoke up and said "I sold one this morning" So they gave him and sold me my Curve. So far I absolutely love it. I had a Pearl then changed over to Mogul, and I just did not like the phone feature on the Mogul so I was dying for the Curve to come out... So far I am not disappointed. I just got it this afternoon. :-)
