To the other mods: I felt leaving this thread in the Curve discussion was better since it is about the curve and having it in the watercooler will let everyone see it where here only ppl that are interested in the curve would see it. I'm watching over this thread to run it.

To the members posting in this thread. In this thread lets just post the wager and what you are wagering on. DO NOT post information you found out about the Curve in here. Post information in the relevant threads already made. Once the Curve is release which would show the date and color I will or another mod will close the thread and I will then divide up the $U.

No bashing, thread crapping, please be polite and keep it clean. This thread should be simply and clean so everyone can see who is wagering what.

I will try my best to check this thread and keep up with it when I can. I just graduated from college and have lots of things to unpack still and just busy at home with other tasks. So please give me some leeway if I am not active here.

Alright i'm in also. Its going to be the darker color which is titanium as the call it. I don't think there is a sleek black color at all. The curve only has 4 colors so far, Silver, Red, Platinum which looks a bit goldish and then the titanium which in different pics looks like either darker shade of grey or sometimes even greenish. As for the date. Hell i would like it to be 5/7 but doubt it. Now i'm starting to think that it will drag out to later part of this month or maybe even in first week of june. So long story short.

Yeah, I sent an email to eCare to ask the reason for the backorder so hopefully they will respond by the time I wake back up letting me know why. I am going to call my local Sprint store and see if they get any as well and just get one from there if they have them and can keep them in stock before I get to them. I'll cancel my order then or refuse the package if it ships.

Sprint does describe it as "titanium-finish" on sprint.com, not as dark as you and other pictures were describing but not as light as plat/silver either. It is kind of in the middle like some other had said about the color of the original MotoQ. I think the wagering is a 2 way street and if both are wrong, then no one wins. I think the color turns out to be in the middle. I will send you back the 100SU$. I am glad the SU donation system is not like PayPal that they take a cut for every transaction. :tu:

Now that the lid is opened, I saw the Curve in a trade show at the Sprint booth. It must be the bright lighting that made the unit looked lighter than the picture on sprint.com.

If you click on the 360 view on sprint.com and rotate it to the back of the unit, you can see a better contrast of the "titanium-finish" vs the black trim on the side. It is greyish in between dark/black and plat/silver. When you rotate it slowly, it also shows different shades of grey from lighter to darker. So I can't tell if it is a lighter grey or darker grey. I will have to see it in the store first before I determine if I like that color combination. When I saw it at the trade show, it definitely looked a lot lighter in color but maybe it was the bright lighting. If the color turns out to be like a MotoQ, then I don't want it cause I don't want people asking to check out my new Q. "Is that a new Q from Motorola?"

What color did you wager on? Are you in the same situation as Guy that on a sliding grey scale, your description is closer than mine?

Do you have Sprint TV? Go into Sprint TV and check the channels. Are you sure your Sprint Radio is not blocked by your BES admin? I remember talking to the Sprint person about BES admin being able to block the Sprint TV apps so I assume the BES package includes Sprint TV/Radio and is up to your admins if they want to block the application.

The Enterprise plan (BES) allows your Blackberry to be attached to a BES, mostly for corporate email and hosted exchange email. It is a lot more robust than using imap or pop.

However, if SprintTV/Radio is not available with the BES plan, then Sprint's Curve is off my table. If I get a BB, I am required to have BES plan but I won't get Sprint's BES plan without the Sprint TV/Radio on the Curve.
