A while back (>>3 years), I put a new line on a F&F family plan and got a $5/mo Vision+100SMS option on this new line as a sub. I now want to add yet another line. Is there any chance I can the same $5/mo Vision option on this new line on the same family plan ? Or any thing comparable ? $15/mo for casual Vision is just way too much (as a sub on a family plan).

Most likely not they were trying to do away with that last I knew. I believe it went from $5 to half price $7.50 as long as you had vision on another line on your plan. I have heard that they wont do that anymore. Someone please tell me if I am wrong.

I was told that once I let the add on go I could never get it back. I dropped the line so I didn't need it.

I was just recently offered $5/month for Power Vision when I upgraded our phones (this was after back and forth negotiating).

In addition, (about a week later) I emailed ecare to see if they had any "discounted" texting plans due to the fact that my wife and I use far less than the 300 text messaging plans they offer for $5/month. I was just looking to split the 300 text messages between both our phones instead of paying $5 for each lines for text messages we probably wouldn't use (our bills were tacking on an extra $5 to $15/month from "casual" text messages). I explained this to ecare and instead of Sprint giving us a "discounted" text messaging plan, they gave us500 free text messages on both my wife's and my line.

Needless to say, I've been extremely happy with Sprint and have been for the last seven years and will continue to debate my family and friends that they're the best at "personal" customer service. Although I may have had a few bad CS reps here and there, 99.9% of them have been great. Because of this type of service, I know I'll be a Sprint "lifer".

As late as two or three months ago, it was still not too hard to get free vision and textings but not anymore.

Probably not going to happen with a new line. Hate to tell you that, but yeah.

well it seems that it is still possible... $5/mo data, or even free data... at least that is what I've been promised...

I had $5 Vision on my last line added a couple of days ago.

It is now a $10 PV Plus pack because I upgraded to a PV phone today.

Only Account Services Can add it. If you have it previously (in ensumble) they can go into feature/add-on history and resurrect it.
