I have Ultimate PV package but I try to access NAV, it asks me to purchase....I accepted thinking that it was just a mistake but "my account" now shows that I've made a purchase.
Does Ultimate PV not include NAV?
Sprint CS has given me various responses from yes, no, to we don't have nav...
Has anyone else has this problem? How can I resolve?
Thanks

When you sign on to Sprint.com. What is the plan called? Is it $25? And most importantly are you using it on a Touch, Q9C, or Mogul?

I'm using it on an M1 and on sprint.com, its says:
"Sprint Power Vision Ult Pack $12.5"
I was given a discount as compensation of a billing error.
Should NAV be included?
Why does the phone make a diff?
Thanks

No that package doesn't include Navigation sorry. The phone makes a small difference because on the Windows Mobile Based phones that do GPS we've been seeing some difficulties with the phone still wanting you to purchase Sprint Nav even though it is included in the package, but that is only on Windows Mobile phones.

Thanks.
I had the Music PV package and was switched to the Ultimate PV package so I can have NAV...lol
Do I actually gain/lose anything?
What would I need to have NAV?
Thank a lot for your help...

the ultimate pack does include nav, even discounted 50% such as yours, if you just got the pack, i found it can take up to a week for the nav to actually process through the system and allow you to use it for free.
it happened to both my lines my line with the ultimate pack, and my line with the $30 BB pack which also includes nav

I've already hit purchase a few days ago (about a wk since it was added)...will there be a separate charge?
If I call in would they remove it?
Thanks again

The info I found on the plan he has says it's not. If you can call care and find out what the "SOC" (pronounced sock) code is for the Power Vision plan I can give a definitive answer. The full $25 Ultimate does however. It really depends on how they setup the service. If they set it up as the $25 ultimate and gave a $12.50 reoccuring credit, then it would include the feature. The plan code dictates everything.

I will do that, do they give SOC codes easily?
So two ppl can have the same PV pack and one can include NAV and the other not?
Thanks

i would call retentions/account services, they would be the dept most willing (and in some cases able) to assist you with that question they may not disclose the soc code but they can go over the code and plan associated and see if its included or not,

They should tell you pretty readily. Sprint Power vision packs go deeper than the name. It makes for a lot of confusion.

Take a look at this page it tells about most of the PV packs all except the pro pack witch i think the only diff is unlimited text for $30.
Maybe this page will help I couldn't find the page that listes all of the packs but I know its out there because I saw it once before.

You do however, lose some Sprint TV channels.

your first mistake was calling CS, you need to talk to Account Services (retentions)
secondly, are you using sprint navigation, or telenav. because sprint nav is what is included, telenav is not.

What do you mean sprint navigation and telanav are not the same Sprint Navigation go's through teleanv. Or am I miss informed can you post or send me some links confirming this for me because I cant find anything that states different.
http://navigation.sprint.com/snweb/
On the bottom of the page sez Sprint Navigation Powered By Telenav

Sprint Navigation is an agreement between Sprint and Telenav. Basically Sprint Nav and Telenav are the same application but who you pay your money varies. If he has Sprint Nav included but is trying to get Telenav it'll ask him to pay or vice versa.
BrettW

they are the same app, but different only because one is sprint branded one is not,
the included nav only covers sprint nav telenav may have an extra fee because its telenav
and mike068, we do have a quote button for a reason lol.

I guess I was just confused because I can log into Sprint Navigation and then I can go to Telenav and sign in and get the same info personal info in both places and I have no additional charges on my bill for ether. To me that would mean that they were the same but I could be wrong. I thought it was like when you get yahoo messenger and try to download it from yahoo and it redirects you to sprints digital lounge and you subscribe and download it from sprint for $2.99.

yea it works that way because sprint nav uses telenavs servers, but telenav sometimes still can prompt you for payment if you have included sprint nav,
i actually use my sprint nav info from my BB on all my phones lol, including my nextel, so i get the same favorites and recent searches across all my devices.
i even used it on my att phone lol.

Wow cool are you using the same subscription on all your phones or do you have separate subscriptions? Bascily are you paying for it on all your phones or just 1 of them. If just 1 how can I do that?

I will try to call Account Services today. In my applications the prog is called Sprint Navigation (properties says 1.0.1 version) and when it loads it says Sprint Navigation powered by telenav.....
This is the one thats included in ur discounted ultm PV package (w/o any extra charges), right?

Retention said that the discounted one (12.50) doesn't include Nav :(
