What does the BB Curve do that my Pearl 8130 cannot? Im just trying to figure out all the hype for this phone. What's so good about it?

Waite till it is released and we all will know there are a lot of gray area around the Curve right now so now one really honestly knows yet.

Pretty much, it has a full qwerty keyboard instead of the Suretype system featured on the Pearl.. MAy be other subtle differences but that's it for the most part..

Bigger, higher resolution (320x240) screen. 96mb of app memory, instead of 64mb. Newer OS version. These are the unofficial "improvements". Will become official once it is released... ;)

It's just mind boggling that RIM has waited this long to release the Curve to CDMA carriers. I mean the 9000 is starting to leak. The phone is old technology. That's not to say I've been counting every last minute praying for it to come out its just doesn't make sense for them to wait so long to release it.

Form factor mostly. Not just the fact that the keyboard is full QWERTY, but also less clutter per key. Bigger display doesn't hurt either....
