About a week or two ago Direct Push quit working with my Exchange account at work. I manage our Exchange Server and verified Direct Push is correctly configured and working for others. After getting the recent VersaMail update, I get a notification to manually sync my account. When I manually sync it, I get a "failed" status. In looking at the logs on my Centro. It shows
Email: sync
Connection established
Get sync estimate
Upload server changes
Calendar: sync
Upload device changes
Get sync estimate
Contacts: sync
Upload device changes
Get sync estimate
Disconnected
Error: 05E5:1860:4049 Server returned error for last command.
Status 5
There are also logs indicating Anto-sync failed with same errors. I do see log entries showing Microsoft Direct Push finished, but they all predate the auto and manual sync errors. I'm guessing that once the manual or auto sync fails, Direct Push is disabled afterwards. I called Sprint customer service 5 times. Twice I got disconnected, twice the person literally couldn't understand a word I was saying (yes, English is my language), the last time a got a coherent person after a 35 minute wait, but he couldn't say what the errors meant. The only thing he could suggest was to hard reset my Centro. I think I'd rather hit myself with a hammer than call Sprint customer service again.
Can anyone here offer a better suggestion?
Thanks
