does anybody know if there is a way to turn off the camera shutter sound on the ic902?

i heard its illegal to turn off shutter sounds due to privacy concerns and upskirt shots and stuff life that, at least i think the only one that can be turned off is the q9c

my v3xx allows it, so does my ace, mogul, mm9000, a920, and pearl.


it is a privacy concern but in no way is it illegal afik (it may be in some states or in the nanny state)

Not illegal....Maybe politically correct.....but bah humbug on that.
All phones should be able to be silenced for the shutter sound.
That is how many take pictures without people being aware of it. Nothing wrong with that. Whether some/most like it or not.
Peeping toms are one thing. Taking a picture of someone in openly visible in public without them being aware of it is another.
