I've signed up for these for several other phones in the past and Have yet to get a notification of such availability "as soon as it's available" type notification. Has anyone else actually received notification about when the new phones come out, if you've signed up before that is? If so, how long after the handsets release were you notified about it's release?

Well yeah, I know that one definitely..lol However, It just sucks that they have YET another failing system. They let customers down by having customers do this and then no one gets notified, then that can bring customer confidence down.

I signed up when the Touch was being released. I got notified 1 week after its release.

Wow, that is pretty sad Sprint can't even get this system down. How difficult is it to compile a mass email that people actually WANT to receive. Nice work Sprint.
