I am looking to purchase a Centro and noticed that one of the features is Versamail that supports a Microsoft exchange server. I doubt I will I be able to access my corporate email directly through outlook because I do remember that my company sent an email out not too long ago stating that they only support Blackberries for direct PDA mail so I may be out of luck on that. My second option is through my web-based corporate email which is accessed from a https site and has a popup java username and password box when I log in. I know I can't get on through my current phone because it doesn't support java, but I understand the Centro does. Is there anyway I can find out if I will be able to access webmail with it?

I access a work email via a webmail portal. Don't know anything about java firewalls...LOL....but it works. You could go to a Sprint store and try the Centro out. Get online from the Centro's browser and try to access your email via the webmail site...see what happens. Mine works (public school email) with no problems.

Yeah, I think I'll do that tomorrow. I'm just so jazzed about getting this new phone, it will be a heartbreak if I can't access my work email. I really don't want to leave Palm and have to settle for a Blackberry.

I can access my school's web-based Outlook on my Centro.
