no, because on the mogul if you dont have sprint nav included with your plan its something you actually pay telenav for not sprint (it will prompt for a CC#)

The only other way your going to get SprintNAV for free is if the plan that your subscribed to offers Sprint NAV as part of the PowerVision plan. I was paying $5 a month for mine and it was all inclusive. Then I got converted to Ensamble and lost it and now I have to pay all these little charges for every little thing.

I have sprint nav and since it's powered by telenav it's a great service. I pay the $10 a month and even though I don't use it every month, it's great when I do. It works pretty much the same as any nav system. As far as I'm concerned, I happen to like it. The only way as I know (and I wish there was a $0 included code for it) is to subscribe to it and ES/RET can add a re-occuring credit.

The service works very well and actually might one up my TomTom unit because i take my phone with me everywhere I go whereas I only take my TomTom while in the car. I currently have Sprint Navigation included as part of my Simply Everything plan and that also includes using the real TeleNav GPS program which I prefer rather than the Sprint branded product. The GPS feature is probably dependent on the phone that you use, but I use a BlackBerry 8830 which works very well and tracks my location to within 6-7 meters outdoors and 10 meters indoors (certain buildings). I also use Google Maps and BlackBerry Maps which are simliar and free but both include less features. Google Maps is great for looking at satellite views of your current location, although usually outdated and also for helping find nearby locations. Google Maps is also handy when in a building with no GPS signal; it uses the tower that your phone is on for service and estimates that you are within 1700 Meters. I rarely use BlackBerry maps, but when I do its usually just to look at how fast I am going which it does a very good job at calculating.
But I love TeleNav GPS (Sprint Navigator) and will not buy a phone anymore unless it has the built in gps chip. Once you start using it on an everyday basis or multiple times a week/month you will not want to be without it. I hate using MapQuest or asking for directions now... all I ask is for the address and I'll handle it from there.
