Go Cubs!
Kicking some arse tonight
I was at the game on Tuesday when they won, 9-5. They are looking pretty good this year, 4th best record I think!

zambrano had a bad inning but i think they cubs can get some runs off of billingsly as long as they are patient.

I think it was nerves. They hadn't played that type of bad ball for a long time.
Maybe some warm weather to perk them up!

The Cubs have a bad case of the nerves. There's pressure from:
Having the best record in the National League.
Finishing first in their division.
They were swept by the Diamondbacks least year in the NLDS. (You know they're trying to avoid that at all costs).
Fans and media expectations. (Haven't you heard, its the 100 year anniversary of the last time the Cubs won a World Series! Its our time!)
Don't think they haven't heard any of those things. They're trying to stay loose and focused, but psychologically, its a lot of pressure to ignore. Lets hope the warm weather/change of scenery/something/anything perks them up.

oh wow im sure that has been said billions of times that's all garbage sox and all other fans except yankee fans have against us cum up wit something original or at least something not said everyday by everybody and sox praid for kenny and look where they are they suck one lil lucky shampionship in 05' and now they believe that they are hot but guesse what they aren't

Funny how the Sox got supposedly "lucky."

Just like some guys get lucky in bars and nice guys still go home alone...
When the Cubs get the winning attitude from playing smart, then they will get lucky. Until then they have to keep staring at the pretty lady across the way.

The guy that got lucky at the bar didnt go home with the lady cause he was lucky, he did what needed to be done to take her home. Period.
Yeah sometimes you need some breaks along the way, but NO TEAM ever wins a championship based on luck. If anyone truly believes that, they dont know crap about the game.
The Cubs, had a great team this year, but they seemed to think it was going to be easy. They simply did not show up to play.
