My fiance just got an LG Rumor but it doesn't support Power Vision or EVDO. What exactly does that mean?
It still gets web access if we want so what limitations does she have and how does that affect the package prices of Power Vision?
I have emailed Ecare and am waiting for a response, but that will probably be a while.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Vision is for phone who can only get 1x speeds up to 144 kbps. Power Vision is basically Sprint's EVDO network which can get speeds up to 2.4mbps.
What this means to you is it will be slower to browse the web on the rumor if you were comparing it to browsing the web on a Power Vision Phone.
that is all the difference means.

I have the Sanyo MM9000, which is an EvDO phone. However, I got it under a "grandfathered" Vision Plus plan, which works. I'm just wondering, am I actually connecting at the higher EvDO speed, or still just the 1x. The EvDO indicator is on my phone, but it seems rather slow. I've never had it on a "Power Vision" plan to see if it would be faster. What do you think?

You should be getting EVDO speeds. You could just be in an area where EVDO is slow.
