View Full Version : Removing add-ons

Hey I was wondering how to remove add-ons without calling sprint? I know you can uncheck it, but what if the box is shaded grey so you can't click it? I think I read somewhere the url (similar to how to add codes) to remove codes.

If anyone has it, that would be great

Also, does anyone know how to change your SERO plan from the Powervision plan, to the one with no data? I want to get a blackberry, and I know that's the only way to do it, to be able to add the $30 BB addon (yes, I'm willing to pay extra)

Thanks,
Mike

Pick an option that you can remove and then switch the SKU before selecting to remove.

Wouldn't that work?

Heard that little loophole was closed.

Besides, mods will probably be closing this soon, might want to get answeres via pm :D G'Luck!

I don't have any features that I can remove. they all have the grey box, so if anyone can help with the url that would be great

Also, why would the mods close this thread? I'm not cheating sprint out of anything...I'm trying to remove something. not add something

In order to change from the SERO (regular plan) to the SERO Voice only plan you will need to contact and actual rep via the phone. I actually spoke with Sprint's BlackBerry department because they were the most knowledgeable about this plan. Many reps don't even know that the SERO voice only plan exist.

In order to remove an item that is included with your account you don't need an actual URL. Just click on the add-on, on the the next page that is brought up go towards the end of the URL in your browser and change the "canRemove" from false to true. Then click enter and allow the page to refresh. You should then be able to remove said item.

Yes they did close the loophole that you are mentioning. But there is nothing wrong with removing an item from your account. And at this point, even to remove an item will require eCare. You will receive an email stating that an eCare rep will contact you within 24-48 hours to complete your request.

But as long as a URL is not mentioned in the thread or items that aren't meant for consumers, there should be no problem with allowing it to stay open. It's when it goes overboard that the mods will be forced to close it. Just follow the directions I posted above and that should solve the problem.
