Does anyone get a EVDO signal, but the three triangles turns into the regular vision arrows if you try to use data? I found out how to set my phone to EVDO only, and was getting full bars in one area of town, but the triangles always turned back into regular vision and speeds sucked

That happens when the area or tower your phone is accessing only has 1x available. 1x is a drag compared to EV-DO.

Usually if you have EVDO signal but when you connect, it switches to 1XRTT it's because your Power Vision Network status is disabled. You can ask tech support to check or just tell them to suspend and unsuspend your account. See if that works for ya.

It depends on what phone you have. If you have a normal flip phone, it will be under settings>data>update data(vision) profile.
For smartphones I dont know unless I have it in front of me sorry.
