Since the last thread was closed because it was old - here's a new one with my question.
"To those that were recently offered the 85/2000 through retentions, I have four questions. 1. Have you had your first bill yet? 2. Do you have to pay for nights and weekends? 3. Are your aap's $20? 4. And if you have vision does it work for all your lines? Thanks for the help!"

I dont believe it is offered anymore. AAP's were 20 for that plan and it didnt generally include vision and had 9pm nights.
Thats probably why the last thread was closed too :) dunno for sure though, cant check times and dates on the phone.

I think I was just offered it.... I have a feeling I'm going to be in a world of issues when my next cycle starts. She did say the AAPs would be 10 bucks though.

It's a free and clear plan, and AAP's are supposed to be $20. All of my AAP's are $10 each though, so its a pretty simple thing to change from $20 AAP to $10 AAP.
As far as vision goes, the rep can add it free on one line, 2, or as many as they want. I can tell you that the $100 2000AT plan included 2 lines and had free vision with pic mail and texting on the 2 original lines. Additional lines after 2 were supposed to be $20 each and you had to pay for the vision and texting on that option at $15 per line for both unlimited vision and texting.
As long as it is in the system, its in the system and should work for you.

Well I already have free vision on my lines so I'm not worried about it, I'm more concerned with the things I'm reading up on regarding this old plan, saying n/w arent included, or that the aap's are 20 bucks each.
I think I'll call tomorrow and just ask them what the last notes say and what the plan details are, before I dive head first into it.
Thanks for all your help Dan!

The thread was closed by me because it was 3 years old. At the time it was created even I had the 2000 minutes $85 plan.
OP the $85 2000 minte was a regular plan and then became a retention only offer so yo will see people who have different setups based on if this was plan they got when it was offered or as a retention plan when they cancelling to save their business.
Now as a retention plan understand it depends on your worth to Sprint, the rep you get, etc...when I had the plan everything was included meaning all my 3 aaps were free with sms and vision fixings...YMMV

I believe one incarnation didn't have unlimited nights and weekends, but had something like 3000 n/w minutes. If the plan doesn't include n/w minutes, you should be able to add 7pm unlimited for $5, same goes for "America" roaming at $5 a month if not already part of the plan.
If you can view the plan details and the add/remove page of options, you will know exactly when your nights start at and how many minutes it includes. The same goes for the AAP's, it should show up in the plan details for that line in either billing system, old or new.

Yeah that's the plan, it hasn't gone into effect yet, but I called back and they said the aap's were ten bucks so I guess I'll see what happens when it goes into effect.
Before it does, I'm still trying to decide which ones better 65/1700 (not sure if available) 85/2000, or 100/2500 (she checked this one and said the system wouldn't let me add it). I just one to decide on one plan and end it. I'm so indecisive!

I'm also on a similar plan from "way back when". I believe it was the $85/2000 but at the time I didn't want the vision so the price was dropped to $79.99 for 2 lines... It was only my husband and I using the cell phones at that time but now our 3 kids are on the plan as well. I don't remember about the N&W because our plan has evolved over the years; even when we changed to the 2000 minute plan, we retained some of the features from our previous plan. The AAP's are $20 but for the last several years, they have been discounted down to $10.
I've been reading the various posts about folks losing discounts, etc. Personally, I've been amazed and grateful to have been receiving such generous discounts (23% employer plus 15% loyalty). If I were to lose the loyalty because of policy/system changes, I would live with it. With my latest renewal, they gave me FREE data and unlimited texts on ALL 5 of my lines, plus pick 3. I am very satisfied and believe that loyalty is a 2-way street.
I believe that Sprint's willingness/ability to custom-taylor plans to suit a customer's needs is what truly sets them apart from the competition.
