A little while ago (~1 year?) it was really easy to get CS to throw in a free SMS bundle, like 500SMS/mo. I believe Sprint even advertised this, particularly for college students. On behalf of a friend who was a relatively new SERO customer, I called Sprint and they easily offered to add this 500SMS bundle to that account.

I'd like to know if this is possible and easy right now. A family member may join our family account (from Tmo2Go) and is a moderately heavy SMSer. It would be great to have such a bundle added, perhaps as a signon incentive...

It dosen't hurt to ask. I know that the Unlimited for $8.00 is still around, we were offered that the other day for hubby's line. He has 600 free so it's not an issue, bc, he rarely goes over 600 so if he does it's still cheaper to pay $0.15 per text

ive had em add it recently to my moms line just by writing in and asking, but ive been a customer for like 8 years. I now have 500free on 4 of my 5 lines...

how do you ask tehm for the $8 unlim b/c whenever i call they always say it is $15 and there is no promos going on now. i would love to ad this if i could get more details. i also saw that they had a ulim text option for $10 a mo. but idk if i am on a power pack line, all i know of is that i have Fair and Flexible. thanks for helping me out if you can!

I just tried to get the 500 free, no such luck. Switching mine to 300 a month, I can always change it if its not covering what I'm using, but I need to text less anyways..

Edit: I wish I could do the same on my girlfriends line, but she texts WAAAY to much for me to do it.. Sigh... Oh well.

ask ecare for unlimited text. they may be nice and include it on your plan.

I had 500 free texts and emailed ecare and asked for free unlimited and they gave it to me. I would email ecare and give it a go.

Hey monkeyboy
Your friend should get unlimited sms with sero as they were running that promotion for a while employee care should be able to add that on there for you.

When you email ecare you have better chance getting it added than by calling or chatting with ecare.

Just ask ecare, you here about people who are long time customers get freebies, but they seem to give away just the same to everyone. I will be a customer for a year this 23rd and they gave me unlimited texting for free, because I asked them what was the best deal they could give me on any kind of texting.

nope, usually it just goes to any random rep, even when replying to someone it gets directed to someone else most of the time

the best way to email ecare is by logging into sprint.com under your username, click contact us, click email us...this will authenticate you with them and they wont have to ask for any more security questions so if you do get someone willing to help you the first time you wont have to reply later to find someone else to deny you

very good advice!! :tu:
that would suck to have a subsequent rep deny you have the former has just agreed to help you out
