When activating Sero online and adding TEP Insurance, make sure once you get your phone to call customer care or check your online account. There seems to be some error when adding TEP. I have verified this on 2 different accounts.
The bad thing is if you fail to realize this within 30 days CC won't add it to your account anytime afterwards because of policy. They recommend you to call Asurion to get it resolved. The down side to that is that Asurion can not verify the condition of your phone. So you wind up in an endless loop between Sprint and Asurion. Best bet is to go to a store and speak with the manager and explain the situation. They might be able to resolve it for you.:frustrate

my friend just got a new sero line on 3/26... i told him to add unlim text and tep when ordering online....he came over and we registered him online and found his charges...he was prorated 27cents or something like that for 1 day of tep so he had no problem adding it but its always good to check things with sprint as we all know how they are

my coworker said he wanted insurance when he came over from Verizon. He wasn't getting charged for it but when he called in to question, they told him it was on there. A couple of months go by and he asked them again, and they ended up back-charging him then prorating the rest.
