i have read that some people have gotten their plans switched over, and others that say that you have to activate a new line... i've talked to a few reps, and they keep sayin that i have to activate a new line... i jus wanted a straight answer...

do i have to port my fone to a prepaid, and go thru that hassle... or can i jus switch my plan over to it...

i am currently on a family plan wit 2000 min and two people, and i would like to put both of us on the 1250 plan for 50 bucks each...

you are supposed to open a new line of service....you can, if you find the plan code, email ecare and ask to be switched to that plan....worked for others..if you call and ask for it, don't call it SERO, just call it "the plan your friend has"

aight... i've tried to call and ask a couple times, and i said sero... so jus say 'the plan ma friend has'...

i renewed my contract last september when i bought the mogul... i really dont want to change my number... and i hear porting is a very complicated process... and i'll search for the plan code on the internet...

all of the customer care and retention people say that i cant do it unless i'm activating a new line... if i keep callin, do you think i will come across a representative that will be weak enough to swith me... or they jus dont have the power to do that...

Sprint is a large company.. With lots of reps.. Which also means there will be some inconsistency in their customer support.

Technically, you're only supposed to get SERO with a new line of service, but I got lucky and, on my first try, called up and got 2 existing lines switched over. Apparently, from what I've read on these forums, I got damn lucky :)

By the way, you can't share minutes between lines on a SERO plan... Each line needs to have its own 500, 1250, or 2500 minutes.

SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more.
