Hi, I am trying to change regular plan to SERO w/o chaing the number..

I had few trials with Employee Account, I talked twice, and both of them said no, you can't.

So I tried ecare, got some positive reponse, but they wanted me to cancel my plan and get a new plan as SERO, including paying ETF and changing the number.

However, I complained that I didnt want to change my NUMBER, and also dont like the fact that I need to pay ETF.

So here's the latest reponse. He left out about keeping phonnumber, though...

Thank you for writing back to us.

I understand that you wish to switch to SERO plan on your account. As
the Two Year Subscriber Agreement is active on your account, Early
Termination Fees will be applied. However, considering that you were not
aware of the same, I will waive of the Early termination fee from the
account.

To activate the SERO plan, please contact the Inphonic at 877-277-9233.

Once the SERO plan is activated on the new account, you can write back
to us. We will waive the cancellation charges from the account. For
your convenience, I have notated same on your account, so that on my
unavailability, your concern could be addressed with immense care.

We are working round the clock to ensure a prompt and pleasant online
experience for you.

Thank you again for contacting us. Have a great day!

The point is, I want to keep my number. Do you thing she is going to keep the number when I create new SERO and cancel the old plan?

I saw that somebody cancelled and got a new plan with SERO, did he keep the number?

Thank you so much for reading this,

Thank you

I recently signed my father up for the SERO plan, and he came from AT&T. They let him keep his number, but once again, different service provider.

and my point is that it's possible, but it goes against sprint's stated policies. so you might get lucky and be able to do it, but don't count on it.

Oh.. I see..

I just wanted to confirm that it is possible..

and should I take the deal ecare gave me about canceling the plan I have and get SERO.. phone number being changed also..

I guess in a way, that is how it has to be in order to get sero?

It is possible to keep your same plan/same number and get SERO. You need to be out of contract.

I just helped my friend get on sero a few days ago and it was done through retentions as well they did ask for a email and verified it was a real sprint email which was fine cause a sprint employee did give me permission to use his email for my friends and I so I know it is possible to get sero through retentions it just takes some persistance sometimes.

I just called regular customer service and they switched me over without even asking for an email address. I got very lucky. That was in February. I've had a few billing glitches since then, but Sprint has been good about fixing everything. As of right now, I can't find out how many minutes I'm using via the website or calling..another glitch. It'll be fixed soon I hope.
Like I said, I was lucky to be switched over so easily. I kept my number and I had only been with Sprint for five months before I asked to be switched.
