My contract is expiring soon, and I am considering cancelling the current line to get a new SERO 500 plan, or take this new plan offered by retention:

400 AT minutes
7pm unlimited nights / wknds
America Roaming included
Pick 3
Unlimited Vision pack
Unlimited text msg
Unlimited mobile to mobile
Unlimited incoming minutes

Cost is around $40 / month. I may get a loyalty discount of 10-15% if I renew as well but not sure about that.

Is this pretty close to the $30 500 AT SERO plan? Does SERO offer anything that this plan wouldn't?

Would you go with SERO 500 or this plan?

Thanks for your feedback to help me decide!

sero includes all that except free incoming and pick 3.. (i believe the pick 3 can only be added by retensions

It has less minutes than the SERO 500 plan but you won't need them because of pick 3 (3 numbers incoming/outgoing calls) and unlimited free incoming minutes. This cuts down on the number of AT minutes. If you make the majority of calls out - then maybe the 100 minutes would come into play but only you would know your own useage. Since this is NOT SERO you can have a NVP discount on it and possibly a loyalty discount, Technically SERO is not supposed to be discounted any more. I have heard different things about what the Ensemble billing system accepts - I received both a 10% loyalty and my NVP discount but others have said that the two % discounts cannot be stacked. YMMV

This is the better plan, even at $10 extra. Just have people call you.

I'd take it, It's practically a SERO plan, except it's 100 minutes less, and 10 dollars more.

The unlimited incoming and pick 3 make up for that though.

What's wierd is that my sero plan is a Fair and Flexible 500 plan.

I talked to a rep about it and they said "technically" it's a SERO plan, but in order to retain the discounts, Sprint created a F&F 500 plan.

Pretty cool.

I personally think that's a great deal. I have the $30 SERO plan and my only perk on it is 6PM N/W's (which suits me just fine and I never felt the need to get more than that). If I was given the choice between my current SERO plan and the plan that you were offered from retentions, I would take the plan that you were offered primarily because of the free unlimited incoming minutes and the pick 3 options that Sprint offfered you, even at $10/mo more. I say jump on it :tu:
