Hi, I have similar situation with you.
Sprint told me that I can cancel my reg plan without ETF and I can get SERO.
The problem is, they didnt tell me that I can keep the phone number.

So, my question for you is, did you keep your number?

There has not been any reports of people getting in trouble for using unauthorized Sprint employee e-mail addy's but that you can get your SERO plan taken away perhaps. There are Sprint employees on the board that are willing to let $U members use their e-mail address as a refferal to sign up for SERO.

i've had a customer care rep tell me i can cancel without an ETF because of the contract changes, but when i was transferred to cancellations they won't help me citing that i only had untill the february billing cycle do to this without being charged the ETF.

i also had a customer care rep tell me i can "switch" to sero by porting my number into (currently in ensemble) the premier billing system, then porting back to ensemble... when she transferred me to premier, it took them about an hour on the phone to tell me they wouldn't help me.

at this point i'm just about ready to take the ETF to the face, since the bill offset for sero vs my current plan will pretty much negate the fee and then some... i guess $99 for a Q9C isn't bad. just wish i had done it last week when URANG still worked =/

kool. wow! I didn't know that sprint offer this type of discount. I have been with sprint for alittle over 6 years now. my contract is ending in 2/2009. I am considering going to another company because all my friends and families have at&t. however, if I can get the SERO i would love to stay since I just got a mogul without usuing my upgrade discount. I wish I had know about SERO 2 years ago because an employee(friend) did ask me to upgrade and renew my contract with sprint two year ago. I wonder if I can still ask for this SERO discount. and if so, do you guys know if I I can get the SERO or both of my lines or is it just one? and are they 49.00 for each line or is it 49.00 for both line per month.

Because I am already getting all that I can use for my lines with free 500 txt mesg., free power vision, and free picture mail.

thanks. your reply would greatly be appreicated.
