Review:
Great looking device. The color of the H710 is black with chrome colored accents. It is an over the ear device and the comfort is excellent while utilizing the comfortable earhook.
I use the device mostly in my basement apartment as I can put the phone near the window where the reception is very good and use the H710 at an approximate distance of 17 feet with complete clarity. I also use the H710 at a distance of 27 feet with slight static but not a problem.
I have not had a chance to test its noise reduction capabilities as of this review.
The reception is excellent for the caller and the callee.
I had the H700C prior and this unit seems to have a slightly better range.
One of the unique capabilities of the H710 is that you can pair it to 2 different cellphones. I have not used this feature as I have only one cellphone that I use.
Opening the boom and waiting for the steady blue light gets the H710 into pairing mode.
The unit has subtle musical tones to let you know it is ready to use, initiating calls, etc. similar to the H12. It also has nice blue and purple lighted accents as well as a battery level indicator mode which you can access by pressing the easily accessible buttons.
the battery level is indicated by the color of the light ring around the center oval which is the call button.
TalkTime is listed at approximately 6.5 hours. I am unsure of the rated standby time.
Btw, there is an H721 which has the same debtses as the H710 but it is a silver chrome color. The Sprint Store had the H710
I gave the unit 4 stars because I dont know if there is a bluetooth headset that is 5 stars so I reserved that rating for the perfect headset.
This unit is marked H710 and SYN2305A underneath it.
The markings are on the top on the underside of the H710. I assume that the "A" stands for the A revision.
The H700 had an A,B and C revisions.
Hope this review helps you in your bluetooth decision making:)
