Samsung U940 For Verizon And Sprint

The Samsung U940 is headed for Verizon and Sprint (http://www.mycellphoneblog.com/samsung-u940-for-verizon-and-sprint/), apparently. The Samsung U940 has been rumored about heading to Verizon for quite some time now, but Sprint may be getting the handset as well. This news comes from FCC’s website where they pretty sloppily try to hide the carriers this phone is headed to. They try to Photoshop over the Verizon logo, and then also mention compatibility with Sprint’s Power Vision.

OH MAN! I hope this is true, I was going to upgrade my MM-9000 to a Mogul or Touch, but if this is coming I think I might just wait....:headbang2

We're not getting the U940, but the M800. Pretty much the same thing, but no slide out keyboard.

And it even says on PhoneArena that you linked to...
The Samsung U940 will apparently be launched with Verizon Wireless. Currently the only confirmed information is the side-sliding keyboard and 2MP camera. Similar to the F700 it has wide touch screen and only one key on the front surface.
