Can anyone simply tell me if its possible anyway to tether on a RAZR2 without the PAM option?

No, you need PAM to be able to tether.

Yes, you should be able to tether without PAM. You may have to call in to activate casual usage feature and you will be charged on a per KB basis.

And you'd be crazy to do that.....at .03 per KB, it would cost you $30 per MB that you access, and it can add up quickly.....might as well put the PAM plan on there and be done with it :)
